Just a few of the lovely comments we get from our happy swimmers after completing their swimming lessons.
You will be pleased to know that I attend the local baths now albeit a class for intermediate swimmers following your advice not to be alone.
I did 4 lengths the other week.
I cannot tell you how much confidence you gave me I think of your instructions all the time I am in the pool.
I pass on your name and address every time someone is impressed at how I learned to swim under your tuition at the age of 77.
All the best to you and Mike.
I had always wanted to learn to swim but felt I lacked the confidence to approach tuition for various reasons.
I then met Roni Kelly, who encouraged me to come along to Ty Hen where she would teach me to swim.
Ty Hen was clean, well appointed and relaxing. Roni was extremely patient, professional and encouraging. She taught me to swim over a relatively short period of time and I was greatly encouraged by her approach and teaching methods. She helped me overcome my lack of confidence immediately.
I would have no hesitation at all to recommend anyone to go along and have swimming lessons with her. She turned what was an overwhelming desire but an unsure one to learn to swim and find the encouragement to do so into fun and eventually satisfaction in that I had reached my goal and learnt to swim.
Thank you Roni for persevering and helping to achieve a lifetime ambition.
Have not done much swimming lately but have embraced the sailing and just cant get enough. Since you did such a marvellous job I now have my comp crew and day skipper certificates and have sailed to the Channel Islands, across the Med from Spain to Sardinia and lots in the Solent. Rough weather does not worry me in fact when I did my compe crew last August it was up to Force 9 and I loved it. Were now looking at buying a yacht and taking off into the wild blue yonder.
Thankyou sooo much.
